But wont we ever get to see him in a situation where he NEEDS to be stronger? Or at least force him to broaden his horizons. So far he has done little more than coast through life and get better at things that interest him. Just take his magic for instance. I love the way the way he thinks up his spells but their are entire worlds of magic that he knows nothing about, he admits he knows nothing about, this presides to ignore because it isn't fun or fit with his science background. When will we see him learn to make potions, learn about manipulate esoteric elements like shadow, or even try and master his skills to the magician level. Right now he just relies on the superhuman levels of power he did nothing to earn and his background in science and computer programming. There is so much more he could achieve and yet he just doesn't TRY!
So, you're saying it's out of character for him to want to avoid the responsibility of the power already thrust on him?
Point and match goes to Whited! Still would like to see Eric really come into his own though.
