Rebecca Vance Thank you for responding back so quickly. I don't know why I didn't think of audio books. I guess I am an "old bird" and still getting used to those. From what I have read, marketing is a chore for all of us. Goodreads is one of the best ways to start. When I started my blog, I got an author page on Facebook and a Twitter account too. Twitter will get the most response and with Facebook you can connect your Twitter and Goodreads accounts to it, and your blog too. Best of luck to you on your subsequent novels as well. Warmly, Rebecca

Stephen Gane Hi Rebecca. I too have an author page on FB and a Twitter account, over 1200 FB likes and 1700 Twitter followers, but apart from making my novel free on Amazon I do not know how to get people to read and review my book. It's early days yet so I will keep on writing and hoping... Take Care Steve...

Rebecca Vance Are you a member of any of the review groups here on GR? There are quite a few. Some require reciprocal reviews, but many don't. I wish I could help, but although I do review debut books on my blog, I am closed for submissions due to an extremely long queue. You can have an event, or a giveaway. I have done a couple of drawings that went over well. I don't have a book yet to offer of course, but I drew for an author to receive a chance to bypass my queue for an interview and review of their book. That gained me a lot of followers. Instead of offering the book free for everyone, offer it as a prize for winning, or a free copy of your next book, or something to that effect. Just a few suggestions. :)
