I hear what you are saying. It is so time consuming to write and edit. But, I do try and keep up with my Bood Club picks and sometimes a book comes to my notice I just have to read. Then there is blogging. I need to read to have something to say in my blogs. Enjoying the writing life.
With me, I end up editing, proofing, and cringing at plot holes. Only one still-living author have I been able to read in the past couple of years without (mostly) turning into the editor from hell.
