I haven't managed to read The Dead Key yet, but there were no issues in No One's Home that I recall. In fact, I've been reading a friends books 'A Natural' by Nora McKinney it's an erotica novel. Nearly blew my eyes off. I respected her decision to describe the explicit details. Surely it's up to the author how they wish to tell their story rather than try and please everyone which inevitably is impossible. Restricting a writer's tools will be detrimental to their creative freedom to tell the story.
