Patricia Bowen Thanks for your reply. It's the 'ice breaker' question I ask all writers and I surprised how their answers are all over the place.
I write most days, start around 7am and am getting up to one thousand words daily on my major projects, right now my second novel. Takes me around two hours. Then I do revisions, or work on short stories, or other writing related tasks. Being a self published author, those tasks pile up.

Greg Jolley Patricia, Well done -- you have a fine handle on the craft and art! Seems we are surrounded by well intended writers who prefer to talk and dream about their books instead of enjoying the challenge of the daily blank page.
