The character in my book is not based on anyone, but I got the idea for her somewhat from wondering about people who I did not know who seem to have so much going for them and yet who have their own secret sorrows. I use my imagination to make up fictional characters who help me creat scenarios sparked by things that touch me or things I wonder about.
And. . . this book just never would take off. I decided to write something else, but at least working on the earlier book kept me writing!
