Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Dixie Minor I got the idea for one of the new characters Jessie ( my main character) will meet from a customer who used to come in a store where I worked a long time ago. She was a young wife and was so beautiful and her husband, who had a lot of money, seemed to adore her, but she always looked so sad. I saw her once in the grocery store and she was barefoot on a somewhat cool day. I have always wondered why she looked so sad. In my book, I am hoping this character can find some healing. But some of her baggage may bring trouble to Jessie's life, uh oh! I also am trying to add just a little magic realism to this book. But I can't say where I got the idea or it will be a spoiler!
