Asterope Thanks for replying! I'm glad I could help! :-)

My main thought was that people wanting MMF would be disappointed or feel lied to, because there wasn't any there. Or that those who weren't into MMF, ended up passing on the books because they assumed it was MMF as listed. I read all types of menage so in the end I didn't mind too much, but some people are very picky!

I can see how it'd be easy to make the confusion. Here's now these things break down:

MFM - two men (straight) with one woman. Sometimes the two men are related, but sometimes not. In a MFM there is no sexual attraction or action between the men. They focus only on the woman.

MMF - two men who are at the least are bisexual. One could be bi, the other gay (and only the bi one interacts with the woman), but usually, they're both bi. During sex, they also interact with each other. So it becomes MM (gay) with a F in the mix.

MFF - Basically the same as MMF only involving FF (lesbian) action during the sex/relationship.

It gets a bit trickier with menage that's more than 3. MFMMMMM doesn't necessarily mean the men are having sex with each other in that case. There's this MFMMMMMMM series where all the men are brothers, so nothing between them. Then again, some of these books can just be full on orgies. Usually those books make that distinction, though.

:-)

Asterope PS: Amazon lists them as MMF, though they were changed on GR. Not sure about other vendors.
