Wow, sounds illuminating alright. And it almost sounds as if each ruling pharaoh was much like a North Korean leader of today and dominated all facets of life and society.
As a living God he was responsible for two things: making sure the Sun rose each day and ensuring the yearly flood of the Nile. A miracle for the people every day!
