[close] The theme of our book club is a quest to find the secrets of eternal joy and never ending splendor. Where should we look? All sincere suggestions are welcome.

[close] This is a group for those that want to read and discuss ancient fiction for fun, whether it be epics, sagas or classics. Anything written and "published" before 1700 goes.

[close] This global discussion group has been designed to encourage debates about important and underreported issues of our era. All you need is an enquiring mind and a desire to gain or share “underground knowledge”. This is also a place to discuss the controversial topics explored in The Underground Knowledge Series (non-fiction books) by James Morcan & Lance Morcan as well as the Underground Knowledge podcast show.

[close] This reading group will explore the Greek and Roman world surrounding the Mediterranean from about 1500 BCE to about 500 CE. It will focus on works covering time periods, places, people, games, food, geography, literature, navigation, warfare, art, architecture, science, poetry, drama, epics, trade, languages, mythology, archaeology, religion and much more. We may also extend our discussions into surrounding cultures and their past, e.g. the Minoans, Egypt, Persia and other cultures depending on circumstances and desire. These works will be selected by active members through monthly polls. Hopefully this journey will be both enriching and strongly inspired by the ancient muses. My bookshelves are piling up with books focused on classical studies so this group is an incentive to wander down those paths.
