[close] Readers of all ages and genders are welcome to join this group. (Feel free to introduce yourself!) This is a showcase of work by older female writers. These authors have gathered wisdom as they witnessed eras of change which the young can only experience through the eyes of their elders. And here are some particularly interesting elders! Women who are along in years are encouraged to introduce themselves and share links to their blogs or books. There is a Facebook group by the same name- we are composed of unpublished writers along with successful authors. We are working on getting more readers who are younger and we are looking for more males to join. We do have some male readers in the FB group- men who aren't frightened away by the group name and who want to support female authors.
