[close] *This book club is not just for people of Hispanic background* *Anyone can join* This book club features Hispanic or Latin authors, most if not all books can be read in both English and Spanish

[close] We read and discuss fiction that raises social consciousness with regards to race/ethnicity. We also use non-fiction works as a supplement to expand our understanding of the topics touched on in the novel we're discussing. You don't have to be "woke" to join the group, but all members should be willing to read and respectfully discuss the (sometimes touchy) topics at hand with the aim of greater understanding.
