[close] ...August 29, 2011 to September 28, 2011... Dedicated to the art and craft of writing adventure stories directed at young adult audiences. In my youth I was drawn to reading by such classics as Treasure Island and The Black Arrow, and by series such as The Hardy Boys and the (British) Biggles books. Secret of the Scarab is an homage to a genre that engaged and inspired me, and provided countless hours of entertainment.

[close] You know the feeling: you walk into a bookstore and buy yourself a book. Or two. Perhaps three? But at home you have a pile of unread books. Because you simply don’t have the time or ate not feeling up to it. This book club is meant for people that love books, but don’t always have the time to finish a book quickly. It’s all about inspiring one another. Different genres, cultures and perhaps languages. See this club as a way of connecting with other people and to share your common hobby: buying and (eventually) reading!
