[close] Wanderlust Reads Bookclub is for those who love to travel and love to read. Each month members will vote on selected books set in different travel destinations. Genres will vary. Just like travel often takes us out of our comfort zone, reading new genres can do the same. The book that receives the most votes will be read over the course of a month and you can join a zoom meet up on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. [close] This reading group emphasizes literature originating from Scandinavia and the Nordic countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland) including translations of novels, plays, epics and poetry ranging from Norse lore/ mythology to modern works of the 20th and 21st centuries.

[close] A place to discuss all the unique aspects of Deaf culture as highlighted in the thriller Silent Fear (A novel inspired by true crimes) by Lance & James Morcan. This group can also be an intersection of sorts where Deaf and hearing people can engage and learn from each other.
