[close] A group for past, present or future attendees of the Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers. Past and present WIFYR faculty are also welcome.

[close] This group will provide a forum for members of Mrs. Rodgers' Children's Literature course to explore options for what to read and incorporate into class discussions, writing assignments, projects, etc.

[close] One easy place to read about the best books on graphic design. Find new books on logo design, illustration, typography, design theory and web design.

[close] I'm a professional illustrator (among other things) with a passion for reading. The idea of The Illustrated Book Club is simply to combine these two interests into something that I can share with others. The group works its way through a list of popular books (like a normal book group), whilst I provide new cover illustrations/designs. If you just want to follow the books covered, discuss things and see the final designs, then simply join the group. Progress is generally slow, as I have to fit it around other work, but I share the finished artwork publicly (see here for what's been done so far). All books will be public domain, so if you have an e-reader, then it won't cost you anything to read along. Aside from classic literature and fiction, we also cover non-fiction - philosophy, history, and so on (whatever I think makes for a good cover!).
