[close] Anyone on here learning a language? Come here to chat about the struggles of language learning and possibly meet people who are able to help you. To start it off, hey guys, my native language is English and I'm currently learning Swedish and Arabic

[close] You don't have to be from a different country. You just have to learn a new language. We'll switch languages, meaning that someone will be in charge of teaching other people that don't take that language. Some of us could still be learning, so let's have fun!

[close] Welcome to English as a Second Language Book Club! Do you want to improve your English by reading? Join us! Here we can share our thoughts about books, improve our vocabulary, and exchange knowledge. Native English Speakers are also welcomed! :)

[close] A place to recommend books and manga for learning Japanese. Mostly shoujo romance/slice of life manga series. Most of the shounen series I add have a lot of romance in them. I add some seinen and josei series that sound interesting, but they may contain mature content. They'll most likely be listed as seinen/josei. They normally don't have furigana. To keep everything neat and in order I only list the first volume of a manga series. Children's books have all the volumes of a series listed and are sorted by age group. 幼稚 (Kindergarten) 3-6 years old 小学1-2年生 (elementary school 1-2 year) 6-8 years old 小学3-4年生 (elementary school 3-4 year) 8-10 years old 小学5-6年生 (elementary school 5-6 year) 10-12 years old 中学 (junior high school) 12-15 years old light novels are high school and above. They may contain mature content.
