Angelika Regossi is an author, journalist, and East European specialist who writes historical fiction about love, power, and intimacy shaped by political regimes.

Before turning fully to fiction, she worked as a correspondent for the BBC Russian Service and for Radio France Internationale, reporting during the fall of the Iron Curtain and the transformation of Eastern Europe. Writing under the names Agnes R. Bos and Агнеш Бос, she covered the collapse of communism, the wars of Yugoslav independence, and the political reshaping of the region.

On 29 January 2003, she reported from Budapest on the exhibition “Sex and Communism” at the Blinken Open Society Archives (OSA). The broadcast examined how socialist ideology attempted to regulate private ...more
