[close] This is a low pressure book club is for readers who want to step outside the usual reading lane. We focus on novels that explore marginalized voices and offer perspectives from different cultures, religions, identities, and parts of the world. The goal isn't to "read perfectly" or have the smartest take, it is to increase your understanding of different voices! We'll explore all different genres, and it's totally ok if you don't read all of our books. Thank you for considering joining this group! Possible reads: Black stories, women’s stories, LGBTQ+, Indigenous voices, Disabled perspectives, Immigrant & refugee stories, Mixed-race/multicultural identities, Religious minorities, class & poverty

[close] A group to read the General Nonfiction, Biography/Autobiography, and History Books that won or were a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.

[close] Current times are crazy and difficult for many in the world right now. This club is to remind us of classic books, banned or challenged books, and history books so we don’t forget nor repeat past mistakes. This is also a safe place to discuss thoughts and concerns on books we have read and comparing them to present day. We will try and focus on 1 book a month and have discussions about them!
