[close] Our Book Club on the Daily Office will seek to encourage people to participate in the Daily Office, the oldest of all prayer practices found in the Bible. One might even say, "instituted by God, Himself." We feel that one way to accomplish this is to create an online space where people can share their thoughts, insights, and prayers that have been prompted by the daily readings and engaging in this prayer practice.

[close] Discernment is defined as the ever-increasing capacity to "see" or discern, the works of God in the midst of the human situation so that we can align ourselves with whatever it is that God is doing - around us, in us and through us. Every Christian is called to this kind of discernment. In fact, it is a mark of Christian maturity. In this course, you will learn the spiritual dynamics of discerning God's will, plan and purpose for your life. To start, three out of seven days a week, you will receive an email that invites you to ponder questions that are designed to help you grow in discernment. We hope that you will post some of your comments here for others in our class to read and glean from your insights. Feel free to comment on older posts, as well as newer ones.
