[close] Each month a theme will be set with a suggested book for each age group (adult, young adult, 8-12 years, young children). You do not have to stick to your age group, it's just to provide a little something for everyone. Some months adult themes may be included, there will be a warning given prior if this is the case. If you add a book to the tbr please let a moderator know the key themes, genres and age range that it falls under.

[close] Also known as Litsy Feminist Book Club. We're an online feminist and social justice book club that focuses on books and literature as a way to build social awareness and turn it into action. Our book club selections are fiction and nonfiction, usually based on a monthly theme. We make an effort to read books based on current events and as diversely and intersectionally as possible. We read a book a month. We read starting on the 1st of every month with discussions that start during the last week of that month, e.g. May 1 with discussions May 25-31. Join us! [close] Hello, Group! We will be reading Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaid's Tale." When I have worked out a schedule for reading it will be posted on the discussion board, along with questions to facilitate discussion. Do not be afraid to share your opinion! We all have a unique way of looking at things and that's what makes discussing literature so fun and engaging. In fact, you're encouraged to read the book from different approaches! Post every thought, question, concern, and analysis you have, just be sure to post it in its proper discussion thread. Please read the rules and have fun!
