[close] This is a group for those who want to read through Classics and perhaps more and share crafts and recipes that are related to the book they are reading!

[close] Monthly challenge consisting of 10 tasks related to a theme of any sort, author’s name, time period, titles, animals, seasons, occupations etc… sky is limit as long as it is doable

[close] When life is too much, a great way to get out of things is to escape into a book. This is the premise under which The Escapists: A Book Club was formed. Formerly the Dailies Monthly Book Club (something that has faded away with Dailies on Open Diary), The Escapists will still hold many of the same tenants as the DMBC, but we will be adding some new twists to enhance your escape. Guidelines: 1. Each month a book or book theme will be listed. A poll will be listed mid-month to help select which book/theme will be used the following month. 2. Every 4 months a set of challenges will be listed. 3. You have a choice of reading the monthly chosen book/a book that fits the theme and/or participating in the 4-month challenge. 4. When choosing a book, there is no set page length. 5. When you have chosen your book, please make a thread for discussion and try to encourage discussion by posting your review of the book in that thread. 6. Make sure to respond to other people who are participating.
