Wolves

[close] In the town of New Craven lives a large population of stray canine animals. Among the Stray's live two packs that stand out from among the rest. The Pedigree, a pack that lives their Stray life in the luxury of the local garbage dump. All mutts are considered filth to them and are shown no mercy, at all. The second most highly rated packs are the Mixed. The Mixed is a pack of cross-breeds, no Pedigree's welcome. They live the hard life, scavenging food for themselves and their pack mates and only having a pipe that leads to the sewers to call home. These two packs are the most bloodthirsty rivals in the animal world at the moment, and all wandering strays have enough sense to keep out of each others way. But now a new threat rises, Humans. The Human kind have started taking action against the Stray's, shooting them on sight or taking them to a pound only to be euthanized. Most dogs are beaten brutally before their agonizing death by Human hands. Will the Stray's retaliate, or will they all fall to Man?

[close] Wolves. Everywhere. You glance around the dim valley. Yellow eyes meet your gaze. A black wolf, his face patterned with white, walks slowly toward you. You flinch away. He stares at you with a look of interest. "A lone wolf. Interesting. What are you doing around these parts?" You don't trust this wolf. But he's acting friendly enough. You tell him your story. "Hmm...it would take a wolf with excellent resilience and strength to make it through all that. Would you like to join our Pack?"

[close] Five wolf packs rule the woods of Wild Rowan Park. The Golden River Pack, Western Scree Pack, Silver Glade Pack and the Eastern Talus Pack. One group, the Western Scree Pack, has began to gather tighter together, not interacting with the others. (Got the following...) Something lingers in the shadows, a sleepless malice, as black as the oncoming wall night. (...From The Hobbit) And The Western Scree Pack is behind it.
