[close] The haunting lyrics in the song are pretty self-explanatory...

[close] I imagine this is what Isobel & Varen dance to at the Grim Facade when they first kiss in Nevermore... The lyrics "Maybe you should go/Baby, can’t control" is something I think Varen would be thinking. It shows his hesitation to make her leave because he wants her to stay at the same time. The lyrics "You know you’re not safe here/I’ll only bring you down" and "My love is too late now" and "The end is almost near" to me show Varen's concern for Isobel's safety and his dreadful feeling that she'll only get hurt if she stays. He feels that it's too late for them to be together. And the lyrics "Can’t help you disappear" make me think of Isobel's refusal to go and how she wants him to stay with her even though she's confused about what's happening. Everything started becuz Varen wanted to disappear from his bad home life and the bullying he faced at school and Isobel seems to be the only person who cares about him and doesn't want him to disappear. Varen starts to not want to leave for Isobel, but at

The lyrics in the song are pretty self-explanatory and show what both Varen and Isobel would be thinking while seperated from each other (Varen in the dream world while Isobel's trying to free him from there).

Or when Reynolds just carries Isobel back home and Isobel soon realizes that Varen didn't come back with her from the dream world.
