It's Banned Books Week!Banned Books Week (September 26-October 2, 2021) is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. Typically held during the last week of September, it spotlights current and historical attempts to censor books in libraries and schools. It brings together the entire book community — librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular.
Look at the video below to see the top 10 most challenged books of 2020.

Happy July! I hope everyone has stayed safe from yesterday's storm, and that you all had a nice July 4th!
I would love to hear what everyone is reading. Right now, I am reading The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave. It is about a woman's husband who disappears after mysterious circumstances, and how she and her stepdaughter try to put the pieces together. So far, I am really liking it!
Would any of you be interested in meeting as a club via Zoom once a month? We can discuss what we are currently reading, and share our ideas with each other. If you are interested, let me know what day and time works for you, and I will try to come up with an accommodating time for everyone. I would love for this club to grow, and for us to interact more.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions regarding reading suggestions or any general library questions.
Happy Reading!
