"On page 72, So far Elizabeth and Wynn have had to change their wedding plans and do the rest of the planning in a few days rather than a few months. Since it is the same author as When Calls The Heart I am really enjoying the second book to this series." — May 18, 2020 05:23PM

"On page 208, Moss and his friends made a plan to send an invitation to the meeting figured as a party invitation to meet at the church. The day of the meeting and there are more people than expected. Moss’s mother helped a lot with that and they are chatting amongst themselves. The church was an old, unmaintained building which made it the perfect place for them to host it. Moss and Javier are still on the same page." — Apr 30, 2020 10:24PM

"This book starts off by us getting introduced to the main character who has moved into a small town. He is the talk of the town because the town rarely sees change. This is a coming of age story in the Deep South where there’s very active and heavy racism. We get to see what it’s like to be a black men/ women facing racism." — Feb 12, 2020 01:51PM

"On page 112, In the book the main character talks with some new and old friend and just talks about her family struggles continuing to live in the new town with a new kind of family. She also keeps talking with SN and trying to figure out more about them.
I think that the figuring out more about SN is also kind of how people now in days are making friends via the zoom calls and learning about them more." — May 01, 2020 12:02AM

"On page 20, Ok, I know this is sort-of a last-minute switch, but I am now reading ALWG by Ishmael Beah. I read some of this last year but I fell short at about the halfway mark because I simply lost the book. I found it again (it was hidden under my bed) and I'm going to finish the book this time. This started off really fast, with a light peaceful part directly followed by violence in the first 12 pages." — Jun 01, 2020 01:17PM

"On page 400, This is my second time reading this book, and I absolutely love it. Would be great for someone interested in race issues, especially if they are a teenager. The story of this book has touched me very deeply for the second time, and I highly recommend it!" — Jun 04, 2020 07:13PM

"On page 478, So far, this textbook has proven to be surprisingly fascinating. While the first half covered conventional basics of writing such as argumentation and analysis, the later chapters are focused on more specific issues. For example, one chapter is written about poverty, while another may be exploring issues of modern racism. The book remains interesting, and the essays are both informative and well written." — May 14, 2020 12:32PM
