"Jacqueline Summers," she said, surprised he didn't already know. Would it be too creepy if she said she knew his name? "Got to say, I'm surprised you don't know my name, but this is the first time we've actually sat down to talk, so maybe I shouldn't be too surprised." For a second she was going to say she knew his name but decided against it. That would be creepy, though he was the one just checking her out so maybe not that creepy after all. "And you are Alex, right? I don't know your last name though." Jackie shrugged, plopping the rest of the roll in her mouth. "This stuff isn't all that bad. Hm maybe I should start eating sushi more often."
Jacqueline rolled her eyes at his joke but snorted in amusement. "Many other things to eat. There are these amazing things called burgers, which can some with chicken, beef, or even fish. I personally don't like the fish burgers, but they serve these amazing hamburgers here," she replied, her tone dripping with a playful sort of sarcasm. This was rather nice but she wondered why he kept looking around. Taking up her own pair of chopsticks, Jackie poked at the roll before she picked up a piece but ignored the sauces and took a bite from one. Ok sushi definite was not something she loved but it wasn't half-bad. "Are you looking for something? Someone? Or trying to "subtly" check me out again?" So it was time to call him out on it, yet the dark-haired beauty hardly minded. Guys could look all they want, just no touching. "Look all you want, I don't mind."
(Sorry!)Jacqueline noticed Alex's "subtle" way of checking her out but made no comment about it. She was proud of her body so if he wanted to look, he could look all he wanted. Smiling at him, she said, "California rolls? I guess I'll start out on that then." There were so many rolls, most of them actually appeared to be rather appetizing but she was still wary. "Yum this all looks so......good. You eat anything else beside sushi?" she asked in a teasing tone.

He loved sushi more than any other food, and if it was available, he..."Jackie walked with Alex but didn't say much, simply observing him as she mentally took notes on him. Once they reached the sushi bar, she finally asked, "Which ones taste good to you? I've only had sushi once before.... I didn't like it but I'm willing to try it again."
Jackie wasn't much of a sushi eater. In fact last time she had it she nearly threw up. Ok according to her friends, she did actually throw up but Alex didn't need to know of that. This was an opportunity to get to know Alex, and Jackie would be a fool for not taking it up. Smiling right back at him, she got off the couch and tucked her notebook under her arm. "Sure, I'd love to join you."
"Ah..." Jackie nodded her head. A notebook without any room to write in it was a pretty big deal, especially to her. If Jacqueline needed to write something but didn't have any paper, her world would cease to exist. It would come tumbling down. And she will die. Dramatic? A little. But that's how it felt for her, so she could sympathize with the kid. "You can borrow some paper from me if you'd like. You know, before you get a new notebook."
Jacqueline wasn't deaf. She heard the kid curse none too quietly and instantly looked up. A brow arched up, not because she was surprised but because she was curious about what was going on but it came down to whether Jackie should bother going over to ask him what's wrong. He ignored her once before, what was to say he wouldn't do that again. Shrugging, there was no chance in trying. Staying on the couch because Jackie was too lazy to get up, she leaned forward and said, "Hey, you all right?"
When the boy ignored her, Jacqueline shrugged and went back to her note book and continued to scribble away. It wasn't anything important, simple little things she was working on mainly for herself. Ok basically she was working on various writing prompts so that she has something to do, and since she loved to write, why not? So while Alex carried out an interaction with some other girl, who Jackie learned was the infamous Sydney, she stayed on the couch and continued to write away in her brand new notebook.
I think people are smart enough to tell the difference between two characters even if they have the same name.
