They get over ran and end up and having to push back to find safety somewhere else. In the push back a few of Danny's buddies were shot and killed by advancing "Feds" or American troops. "On page 179, A conflict is this girl was allegedly committed murder to a baby and now in a group home. But now she is pregnant and social service want to take her baby that she hasn't had yet away from her because the baby is technically belongs to the state.
