I think a belief is still a belief if one doesn't act in accordance with it. However I do think that beliefs are meaningless and useless if a person doesn't live in accordance with their belief.
Mhm I definitely agree. The characters behave in very realistic ways. I suppose the symbolism of that works by showing how different a country that has Aslan as its centre is from one that has false and cruel gods.
I'ma bit dubious about Greta Gerwig doing Narnia for several reasons, but mainly becuase all the movies she directs centre on female protagonists and all the male characters tend to be a bit lackluster. So I don't think she will do justice to characters like Peter, Edmund and so on.
This one is my mother's favourite! For myself, I've never liked it as much as the others because I find it rather gloomy, and to be honest, most of the time Puddleglum! Yes that is true and it certainly has amazing themes, I just never enjoyed it that much.
Yes it is! I can't say it is my favourite, but it is definitely underrated. There really are! Polly and Digory have a great friendship! The creation story of of Narnia is quite unique and beautiful.
Not very unfortunately. But I'm not sure how to make it more so... A read a long didn't work very well.
Welcome Bryan! Wow that's amazing! My father teaches medieval Latin so he's very familiar with medieval literature.
That's interesting!Well, I've always thought of the tunnels as being sort of like modern day hallways. But I admit, I haven't thought much about it.
