1121268 I really hate how they got rid of the help group and instead made a subsite, feels much less humanized.

Recommending The Winner's Curse once again lol

I am SO glad I didn't finish that series
1121268 So for example, for Harry Potter, you would say "Boy Mage Knows Two Spells -- Defeats Wizard Hitler". Or something like that.

This is a thread to have fun and laugh a little. Spoilers, obviously.

1121268 During the month of March, we will be hosting a challenge to read books centering around the experiences of women, especially in places where women are marginalized. Here are some prompts to get you started:

-Read a book with a female general
-Read a book with a female scientist
-Read a book with a female character who is not interested in romance
-Read a book with a female character who is very interested in romance
-Read a book with a female character who is a sexual assault survivor
-Read a book with a female character who experiences sexism but overcomes it
-Read a book with an f/f (lesbian) relationship

1121268 May I recommend Wolf by Wolf, The Lie Tree, and Illuminae? Girls in STEM/the military are my weakness, and I love how they just casually break gender stereotypes.
1121268 Definitely Kestrel Trajan from The Winner's Curse. Smart, cunning, good at piano. Checks all my boxes.

As for villains, I love Ava Paige from The Maze Runner. For the same reasons I love Kestrel, except for the piano part :)
