50x66 “That was the thing about secrets-you had to carry them with you forever, no matter what the cost.” What would you do if you were civilizations last chance of survival? The 100 by Kass Morgan is about Juvenile delinquents sent to Earth for the first time in centuries. I recommend his book to 11 year old boys and girls and above. I was entirely intrigued into this novel it is fascinating because of this new world that is so cruel and does everything for the greater good. I also like how it is perceived of many characters who have had a difficult past and have a difficult present to have a better future like all of us today. " Dark and riveting ... A mash up of THE LORD OF THE FLIES, ACROSS THE UNIVERSE, and THE HUNGER GAMES."- booklist

50x66 "Sometimes what we want or don't want doesn't matter in the end. Sometimes magic doesn't listen after all." What would you do if you lived in a world where magic and humans were enemies? The 2010 trilogy best book for young adults nominee is about a girl who lives in a world in the future where the Earth is left in ruins because of a war between faeries and humans. I recommend this book to girls age 11 and above who like science fiction. Personally, I find this book interesting because it is funny how us humans don't like the idea of others being different and possibly having something more than we do, I also like how the main character Liza finds out throughout the story that magic isn't always evil, it has the power to be good. " The beginning resonates with tension and pulls the reader into a finely multilateral story..." - VOYA

50x66 “Each day means a new twenty-four hours. Each day means everything's possible again. You live in the moment, you die in the moment, you take it all one day at a time. -Day” What would you do if you were the most wanted criminal? What used to be the United States is now the Republic and we are at war with our neighbors and everything is at stake, a famous criminal called Day is out there causing mischief but that will stop when fifteen year old June seeking revenge for her brothers death goes chase after Day. I recommend this book to 12 year olds and above who like to read about Utopian societies in the future. I like this book and I can relate to the characters. "Marie Lu's dystopian novel is a Legend in the making."--USA Today

50x66 “Sometimes you make choices in life and sometimes choices make you.” If you were in a situation where you lose all your family and all you have ever known, What would you do? IF I STAY by Gayle Forman is a novel about a girl that loses all her family in a car crash and lands in a comma but is aware of what is happening outside and has to decide whether she wants to live or not. This book is amazing i recommend it to 11 year old and above. I found this book interesting because I found a connection with the main character because we share a talent of playing an instrument. IF I STAY by Gayle Forman is a book you would love to read and one you would never forget.

50x66 “There’s something about sitting alone in the dark that reminds you how big the world really is, and how apart we all are. The stars look like they’re so close, you could reach out and touch them. But you can’t. Sometimes things look a lot closer than they are.” What would you do if you had to chose your destiny? What would you do if you wanted more in your life that made it have more of a meaning to it? BEAUTIFUL CHAOS by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl is about Ethan Wate who can’t wait to leave Gatlin and have the opportunity to be different and actually have a real life than everyone else in his small home town. Ethan and new girl Lena Duchannes share a connection but what he doesn’t know is that she is a caster (in our world she is like a witch) and she is going to be claimed to be dark or light, good or evil but she doesn’t get to choose. I felt that i agree with Ethan I believe that everyone tries to act the same and to “fit in” so when we see something unnatural or what we are not used to we freak. I also believe that there is more to us than what we commit to there has to be something more in life than what we think we need. I recommend this to people ages twelve and above and people that like science fiction and don’t get grossed out by a little bit of romance. This is the first book of the Caster Chronicles which include of BEAUTIFUL DARKNESS, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, and BEAUTIFUL REDEMPTION. “ Gorgeously crafted, atmospheric and original. I devoured it.”- Melissa Marr

50x66 I also read THE QUEEN OF WATER and personally I also agree that we should take advantage of the freedom we have. This book taught me to be grateful.
Plague (2 new)

50x66 "You're still the leader. You're always going to be the leader. It's not something you choose: it's something you are.” PLAGUE by Michael Grant is the fourth book of the Gone series, it is about a group of people the age fifteen and younger that have to live without adults. They have survived but now they have to survive the extreme, a plague. This novel really impacted my life because it made me realize that adult are really important and that we need them. I recommend this for people age 11 and above.
