"On page 244, I feel like this book abandons half of the stuff the characters learned in the first book. They cut the dino DNA with DNA from other creatures since they couldn’t get a complete strand (thus how they were able to breed, they picked up the ability to swap sexes from frog DNA). But they now think they’re witnessing authentic dino behaviour and don’t consider hybrid influences. If only Grant was here, he’d know." Jan 19, 2026 10:08PM
