The widgets I'm considering are:
The Bookbinder's Secret pub 1/13
The Quiet Neighbor pub 1/27
The Book Witch pub 4/7
Dog Person pub 4/7

I'm disappointed with myself.

A.R. Torre was available as a read now yesterday and I hesitated and now it's not even available to request. It's a wish for it only. It sounds really good, but I was worried about taking on another April pub.

I got a widget for that one too, Elyse. I have a few widgets I'm considering. They all look so good, but I won't have time to read them all before they publish. I've been trying so hard not to fall behind again or overwhelm myself with books I 'have to' read, but I may have to risk it. lol

I finally got around to a review this month. I finished
Brigands & Breadknives. I thought it was good, but I didn't love it. I may be in the minority on this one. 3★

my Brigands & Breadknives review

I just said the same thing to my husband. It's adorable!

I didn't review any books in September. The month just flew by. I did manage to add
And to All a Good Bite. So, I ended with the same percentage (97%) and just increased my TBR by one (11). Hoping to do better in October!

I just saw that the newest 'in death' book is read now for the first 1000 members. I did not get it, but it was still available as of this posting.

I just saw that this
Keeper of Lost Children
by
Sadeqa Johnson is read now for 24 hours if anyone wants to try to get it. We are planning to buddy read it.

I skipped this one because I haven't read the previous books. I'm glad you both loved it though!

Listening to this one now! I’ll update with my thoughts tonight as soon as we’re not driving.

Welcome, Margaret! We're happy to have you here and look forward to chatting.

Oh, that's exciting, Trisha! Yes, get it and join us in the discussion:

Never Flinch? We can. Trisha and Theresa have a thread already from when they read it. I don't know that I'll be a great buddy reader because we're going to listen to about half of it in one day while traveling, then probably finish a couple days later. I'd be happy to discuss with you though and we can check out their comment too. :) We'll be starting the 28th.

I'll be interested to see what you think of this one. I might have to add it to my TBR. I'm finally getting to
Never Flinch in about a week.

I'm so sorry, debbicat. It's always hard to lose a parent, never mind losing them so close together. Sending hugs to you.
