DONE with my regular 12 and only 2 more on the extra 4! This has worked really well to get me to read some of the older books on my list, and I have enjoyed all of them. So glad I finally had the incentive to get to them....ready for the 2026 challenge to get even more in :)

I liked The Golden Compass, but I didn't love it; I don't think I will continue with that series, but I'm glad I read it.

Thanks for checking in! It also reminded me that I needed to do an update to this list; I haven't done it since May and I have done some reading since then!

I was disappointed that This House Is Not for Sale was not the novel that it is billed as, but rather, a collection of short stories. That being said, I enjoyed most of the stories, including the fable aspect contained in most of them.
