118012 Very much looking forward to October. I’ll be reading suspense books all month long! I’ll be starting with The Society of Unknowable Objects, a genre blend of fantasy and thriller.

118012 Ha, so GR being GR lol
No worries! Haven’t been active myself in the group but I do follow the posts and the books being read 💜

118012 Nice goals Nancy! I’m hoping that 50% of my read books will be from my shelves.

118012 That really sounds disappointing!

118012 I’ve read:
As Chimney Sweepers Come to Dust, the 7th Flavia de Luce book. Sweet YA/MG mystery, but with reading one a month I think I’m done with Flavia. Will finish the series though.
Dead Man's Folly by Agatha Christie: the expansion of Hercule Poirot and the Greenshore Folly. Identical plot, I recommend reading this one.
The Lights: short and eerie, perfect for readathons.

118012 Hi everybody! Long time no see. But I’ll definitely be participating in spooky October. Will be including mysteries though!
I’ve read Death at Morning House by Maureen Johnson and Hercule Poirot and the Greenshore Folly by Agatha Christie

118012 Same, 3 books behind schedule, 5 more to read before the end of the year. It’s definitely going to be a challenge!

118012 Would love to join but I only have Copperfield; and my library doesn’t have Copperhead yet. Also February is fully booked already…

118012 I’m only at book 6.5, Black Coffee, which I quite liked. I do see some negative reviews, but I enjoyed it very much. I hope to read Halloween Party next year October lol

118012 Indeed, the first time I read Frankenstein I cried my eyes out. This time around I felt mainly anger, so much anger towards Victor, certain things he said and thought…

118012 Read The Preacher by Camilla Läckberg and am now reading The Broken Girls by Simone St. James and Broken by Karin Slaughter
I’m loving The Broken Girls!

Oh, and I’ve also read Frankenstein: The 1818 Text though I don’t find that book spooky, but rather sad…

118012 I might have read some books that fit the challenges but participating in so many readathons, GR groups and Discord server is taking up a lot of time, so haven’t had the chance to check yet…
