Okay, it took me forever and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it, but I finished The Crimes of Elizabeth Darcy for the mini challenge.Whew, this one had everything, but the kitchen sink thrown in! It pushed my angst sensibilities to the limit, but I did love the rising suspense and courtroom tension that came up. The tone was darker and bad stuff happens with some really vile schemers coming from more than one direction. It made a fab sequel.

I was hoping to get a burst of reading in my Austenesque stack, but that was not to be. The holiday festivities called to me and my reading mood veered toward other non-Austenesque on the stack.But, I did get a few more read this month and I enjoyed the warm hospitality of Mr. Knightley so I'm not all that disappointed. :)

Yay for finishing your Christmas reading challenges and how delightful to revisit Jane Odiwe's advent one. That was a sweetheart of a story.
