Sam’s comments from the Austenesque Lovers TBR Challenge 2023 group.

It is always fun for a day or two. (as long as it warms up and melts right after)

The world stops here when it snows. It is mainly a safety issue, no snow tires or the experience driving safely in the snow.

I always call seriously bad weather and forest fires G-d's wrath upon the world.
I don't think the shiftsan be completely explained away by science.

That's what happens here. If there should be a threat of snow, there is a mad dash to the food markets to stock up.
It usually stops over night and melts within a day or two.

We do get flash floods in certain parts of the country and Tel Aviv is known to flood if it rains a lot for days on end.

Not to the extent of people needing to evacuate though

Crafty, is this unusual weather for winter in the UK? Doesn't it get cold enough for snow?

Then , it seems like two separate issues.
being on the group helps you track. and it doesn't seem to lead to leaving reviews. which is your main concern?

in that case I say, please stay with us.

I would also miss you input Elin, but I think in this case you need to do what you feel comfortable with.

I don't think I can face that one.
The idea of Elizabeth being married after Darcy and then finding out it wasn't even legal!

It seemed to difficult to get involved with.

I hear that, I got stuck on news 24-7. Finally last week I had to stop. It was starting to affect my mental well-being.

Not sure I will go for a big goal next year. I think I have to focus on finding a little serenity, as opposed to escapism.
