12329 We should've started a topic on math-related pick-up lines. PERFECT FOR VALENTINE'S DAY.

Ex. "Let's take each other to the limit to see if we converge."

12329 Worse than writer's block: when your laptop crashes while you're in the middle of writing a manuscript. I had already typed out 40 pages in around two hours. Naturally, I forgot to save...

12329 Happy (Belated) Valentine's Day!

I spent it alone in the city... I suppose that's better than what happened to Peter Gusenberg...

12329 Would you mind if I joined in on the fun? I used to play tennis at a competitive level in middle school.

12329 Let's start with Chinese:

我爱你。(I love you) seems to be used quite frequently.

Dating sites (http://www.520.com/) & areas of rampant consumerism (http://www.iloveyou.com.cn/) are just two examples.

12329 Ha, I've only lived in Palo Alto, Atlanta, Carversville-Point Pleasant and Princeton.

My mother is of English, French and Danish descent.

My father is of English, German and Portuguese descent.

Those are all of my connections.

12329 1. That was a terrific film, Manny!

2. Tam, that story is amazing.

3. I wonder how many of the recent votes were actually cast by zombies.

4. I've never spent time in Minnesota, but it looks like a fascinating place...

12329 For this very reason I never argue with my mother or cousins. They always win.

12329 Oh, cool! My dad was also an undergrad. He graduated in 1983, I believe.

12329 Ah, the time will fly by, just you watch and see! It seemed like only yesterday that I was starting high school, and now I'm a freshman in college. It's crazy how these work. 4 years gone in the blink of an eye.

12329 Hooray! I'm sure you'll love it, Yui. It's a wonderful school in a wonderful town.

12329 Ha, yeah, I really can't explain my attachment to Paly after all these years... I suppose I have a strong connection to my early childhood.

I love living in Pennsylvania, though. It's really beautiful here. As much as I love Paly, I don't think that I'd ever move back. That door has long since shut.

What part of England are you from, Choupette? My mother hails from Oxford.
