For the seventh episode of The Nerd Tea, I talked to YA author Hannah Parker, who wrote the series "Autumn's Tithe." She also started her own hybrid publishing company called "Counterpoise."Watch and listen on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple podcasts!

I thought the book was unique, entertaining, and sometimes hilarious! What I didn't like, though, was a lot of the dialogue. It was fine from the FMC; she's quirky and awkward, and it works. But it stops being special when everyone else has the same style.
Regardless, I'll read the second one cause I'm curious about what happens!
4 or possibly 4.5 stars.- Fantastic writing
- Wonderfully full characters
- Mysterious and unsettling
- Unique
Such a refreshing - and creepy - read!
I've wanted to read this book for a while, and now is the perfect time because it just got republished by traditional publishing and was picked up for adaptation by Netflix!
