Did you know that some authors that have their first initials then last name on their works (for example: S. E. Hinton; Author of "The Outsiders") do so in order to anonymize their gender to the reader? This might be, or in Hinton's case at least, so that the reader doesn't see that it was written by a woman (they might turn away and not read it.) fuck sexism. — Nov 14, 2025 10:31AM
