I couldn’t breathe, everything hurt. I knew I was toast, my limbs felt like jelly. Maybe, just maybe, if I moved just a tiny bit. Searing pain erupted from my hand traveling up to my head. I open my mouth in a silent scream. Nope, nope!, not moving. What the hell happened?, i tried finding a logical answer to why I was in so much pain, but I couldn’t find anything. Nothing rang a bell, what the hell did I do?. How can someone just wake up with searing pain and not know what the hell caused it?, Wow I must have done something stupid, I couldn’t even feel my legs. I tried taking a calming breathe, I cringed, it wasn’t as bad as when I tried to move, but it still hurt. Okay moment of truth, I moved my head slowly, hmm that didn’t hurt I peered down to my body. Holy shit!. No wonder I couldn’t feel my legs, both were at an odd angle , and there was something white sticking out that oddly enough didn’t look like bone, but I wasn’t stupid, oh fuck, oh fuck, k star , deep calming breathes don’t freak out don’t freak out. I looked down to my hand and it looked like I stuck it inside of a garb rater , skin was just hanging off the bone. It didn’t even look like a hand anymore, I could have been in a horror movie. Oh my god, im going to throw up, k in the count of three , I told my body, were going to sit up. One, two, three!. I grunted with the weight of my body, damn, no more chocolate. The pain was still their but was slowly fading, I looked down to my hand and brought it up to my face, know that I could see better, it looked even worse than what I thought. My skin hung like flaps over my bone, each piece you could see my veins, blood dripped down to my elbow. I looked closer and I notice that, slowly my vains started to wrap around my bone. What the fuck!
“careful their princess, don’t want to exhausts yourself , you are not done healing yet.” A masculine voice whispered
I gasped and tried to look behind me, but my damn legs!, now when I need them they won’t work, stupid, so stupid. I saw a shadow move out of my line of vision, Oh Okay creepy level just breached.
“who the hell are you, and where the hell am i!?” I yelled towards the shadow. Well tried to yell, but my voice sounded like I was a chain smoker, low and raspy.
The shadow slowly walked hung in the darkness, still staying out of my sight, “ i have many names to you, princess.”
Princess, Princess. Was this guy delusional!
“princess, I am no princess. Now tell me who the hell you are!” I demanded this little game this ass was playing , I was not.
Slowly the shadows flickered in front of me , and a figure appeared. I couldn’t believe my eye, just couldn’t even comprehend , what I was seeing. I noticed his feet first, dark black shoes, that looked like they were shining ; long legs and torso, strong built chest, that pulled his black tunic taunt as if he was flexing. Then I saw his face, and gasped.
“like what you see” he smiled
Holy fuck, this guy was hot, and I mean on the scale of one is eh and 10 is like I just died hot, this guy was a solid 10. From the turn of his lip I could tell he knew just how hot he was, I frowned. Black eye stared at me waiting , wanting?, wait where did that come from?. Staring at him made my eyes hurt, and seriously I was getting creped out.
“k, like seriously, who the fuck are you?” I sneered
Slowly he cocked his head to the side
“you really don’t remember , princess?” softy his lips moved, then turned down and a clouded look covered his face. He looked so sad, he blew out his breathe and it tickled my face. He watched as I leaned forward just a little, and something happened to his expression, was it anticipation?. That half smile was back. For some reason I wanted to take the sad look away, he looked so beautiful when he was happy
“so” he said drawing out the word “if you don’t remember , perhaps maybe I should refresh your memory?, yes” he asked watching me intently , I nodded back. A small part of me knew he was leaning down bring his face closer and closer to mine. But I didn’t move, I couldn’t. I was paralyzed, watching those beautiful lips come closer to mine, I took a shuttering breathe waiting for his lips to touch mine. A hair breathe away and he spoken such a soft musical voice I didn’t understand the words. It was a different language, it sounded like the waves flowing up to the shore. His breath caressed my lips, the last thing I remember was one single word before my world exploded into chaos. “remember”
I stood on a hill, overseeing a beautiful land. I looked on and saw something that scared the shit out of me, I was staring at myself. What the fuck, my twin watched me intently, then smiled and pointed teeth touched her bottom lip. Oh my gawd I’m a vampire! I screamed excited I touched my teeth and nothing. What the hell!, that not fare. She held out her hand and I reached for it. And felt my body get thrown to the side, looking up from the ground I saw, that mysterious guy smile and grab her hand. He pushed the hair from her face, and brought his lips down to hers, a little sigh of contentment exploded from her lips. Fucking lucky bitch!. I looked down to my feet, I wore different clothing, a soft dark blue tunic . hmm, I could get used to that.
“that’s me and you princess” a voice whispered behind me.
I screamed and jumped to my feet, putting my hands out to defend myself. Hands on his hips the mysterious guy watched me intently with a raised brow
“really?, what the hell u gunna do, hit me with your tiny hands?” his chest rose and fell rapidly. The fucker was laughing at me, I decided to answer with bravery
“come close and I guess u will find out wont u?” and raised my own eye brow, slowly he shook his head and sighed. He looked at me and smiled, and something about that smile terrified me but warmed my body, fucking hormones, see a hot guy and all you wanna do is jump them, god damit!. I backed up a step and he stood in front of me , What the hell how the fuck did he move that fast!,
“carful princess u need to watch to remember” he grabbed me and nuzzled my neck , and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t lean into it. Then he did something that completely creped me out, he sniffed me, he seriously freaking sniffed me. I pushed him back
“did u just sniff me?” I asked
He looked startled, and smacked his head
“sorry that probably creped you out, but u smell really good”
My mouth opened to say a smart ass comment but I couldn’t think of anything. This seriously was getting weirder and weirder by the minute. There had to be a logical reason why I was here, like this couldn’t be real life, there’s no way in hell. There was no sounds of cars, or planes, or the smell of exhaust, no screaming baby’s, no people, no buildings. It was just forest, everything was vibrant colors, blue, purple, orange, red, pink. Everything looked so magical, so fake I thought. This had to be a dream, there was nothing like in the real world. I snapped my fingers, I was dreaming of my sisters story she was telling me.
“princess”
I looked at him, “what is your name?”
“I already told you I have many names, princess”
“ yea, yea” I waved my arms in the air “enough with the hole cryptic nonsense, what your real name.?” I stated
“my name is old princess you will not be able to understand it, but in this life, I go by Rulk”
That name, were did that name come from, it sounded so familiar. I racked my brain, it was on the tip of my tongue but I couldn’t place it. Rulk took my hand and walked towards the trees, I let him pull me maybe there was someone else who could give me answers.
“this princess, is pans labyrinth.” Slowly he pulled me out of the hill and into the forest, each tree looked like it had been painted for perfection, in a horror movie. Spider webs dangled down and over the tree tops, I think the thing that scared me more was the fact that I felt like someone was watching me, or something. I quickly looked behind me and hundreds of red eyes disappeared from the trees. I squeaked, Rulk whispered something too low for me to hear and hissing sound all around us.
I backed up into Rulk, not caring how perfectly our bodys aligned, his strong and hard to my soft and fluffy.i yelleped as his hands fitted around my weist and tugged me back harder, so not only was my back pressed into him but everything was pressed into him and i could, feel everything. i felt his breath on my neck and i shivered.
"they wont harm you princess" Rulk rumbled into my ear "you are with me, nothing would dare touch you, or they would go through my wrath"
i leaned back into Rulk and sighed feeling him mush me into his body, i felt safe. Except when the ground began to tremble, i felt rather then herd the growl coming from Rulk. Sliding me behind him he staired off at the dark trees, waiting for something. He didnt have to wait long. two large yellow eyes peered at us between the tree's ahead. Startled, i grabbed rulks hips and cowerd behind him and silently prayed, that the things watching us weren't spiders. Any other bug yea okay but spiders, hell to the No, no fucking way was i doing anything or looking for that matter. shivering i barred my head into Rulks back, feeling him tense
