It looks like "A Monster Calls" is currently winning, so I'm pretty sure that's going to be one of our books. As for the second one, it looks like people also have an interest in The Graveyard Book, The Raven Boys, We Have Always Lived in the Castle, Frankenstein and Library of Souls.
Out of those I listed, what are people most excited about?
If there's enough interest I may pick 3. :)
Okay I've been extremely busy and therefor have dropped the ball on picking fall books. So! Let's pick two fall books to read between now and mid December!
Any theme suggestions? I'm of course in the mood for creepy/spooky/horror books, but I am open to other ideas.
My suggestions are:
1. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness
2. A Madness So Discreet by Mindy McGinnis
3. Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs
I already started this one! I am 5 chapters in and I am loving it so far. Such interesting, descriptive, whimsical writing!
Hahaha. Glad to hear you guys are loving it!I'm wondering if anyone has opinions on audiobook vs. regular book for this one? I know Gaiman tends to read his own audiobooks, which is cool.
Here's the spoiler free thread for I'LL GIVE YOU THE SUN by Jandy Nelson. Talk about your first impressions of the book, overall thoughts, etc. Stay tuned for a spoiler thread!
