Merlin was really confused about all that she was saying but his face betrayed nothing "Well..That's good, right? A little bit of peace, even though it may not last forever"

He grins "What an interesting choice of words, have you had any personal problems with them?" He hoped he wasn't overstepping the line, but honestly, he was running out of questions

He raises an eyebrow "The council, it that like some secret government organisation? Or what...?"

He laughs "Well, the name doesn't help much, I mean, SLAYers! Kind of creepy for thise that don't know what you do" he says

Merlin frowned "You have problems with them? So do I, thay really don't appreciate magic" he shakes his head and sighs

He laughs "That's what I said! But they were just a bunch of lazy people with trusting problems, so yeah..."

He laughs "Really! So, ready?" He shakes his hand and widens his eyes.

"Well, it is a school" he smiles brightly "But don't worry, if you want I can make is invisible"

He smiles "Perfect!" He holds out his hand "wanna tour this place?" He asks hopefully

"In my village, most of us have old names, so when visitors come by they don't call us by our names, apparently they are to hard to pronounce" he shakes his head

"Huh, that's an interesting name" he says

"Great!" he was exited to be able to give something that was rarely unique about him "So what's the story behind the name, why El?"

"They are actually pretty heavy!" He says relieved "I could teach you!"

Merlin rubber his neck embarrassed "Well, it was mostly the grown men that protected our village, and I usually did farm work" he remembers something "But I used to play knights with pitchforks, does that count?"

His face fell "Well, no one has to find out, plus I've never held a weapon before in my life, what do you expect me to do?" he says in a weak voice

"Heaven, for all its titles and glory, is not safe. And I don't even know if my father is even alive" he sighs "Look, You are a mess, I am a mess. But screw it, I don't think any of us needs to be perfectly okay to carry on" he smiles "Am I right?"

He smiled without humour "My older brother cast me into a cage because my father, whom I adored, wouldn't let me have my opinion. The cage was cold, dark, and completely cut off from Heaven. I've never heard the chorus of angels since I fell. I couldn't even hear the screams from Hell to keep me company. For millennia I was the loneliest creature in the Universe. I used to be the sun, now I'm so cold my brothers flinch at my touch" he fell terrible just saying it

"Your bloodline doesn't define who you are, I was the friggin' son of God and my whole family were virtuous Angels. And I am the Devil!" He exclaims, flinching involuntarily at the name.

"They shouldn't, people should be jealous of you. If people are trying to bring you down, it only means you're above them" he grins
