I finished. I thought the part about how the bats had to protect their ears basically to their own voices was so interesting. This book has a lot of highs but sometimes it's a lot of information at once. There was a lot about echo location that I did get a little bit lost on but overall it was a good time.

Ugh. I hate learning that fish feel pain. 38% of the way in. I think I can finish by tomorrow. I like the pain chapter so far except that it makes me sad lol.

22% In an I am overwhelmed with the amount of information. I just got to sight and how some birds have very good vision but still crash into turbines and it's because they aren't paying attention. They aren't used to anything being up as high as them so even though they see well, they still crash.

Who knew I would learn so much about ants and their pheromones. I also never thought about taking my dog on an olfactory adventure. Humans view senses through our own lenses so it is really interesting to see it broken down to different animals.

I'm starting this on audio now. I do wish I had a copy to read it or even the time to read it because this already feels like a book I would want to write in. I really like the introduction so far.
