And that might be exactly why I need to walk away. I don't like cheesy and predictable at all.

Chapters 16-end => (view spoiler)[I have to say that Emeline really pissed me off when she found out he was 1/2 demon. The fact that she believed he used his powers on her made me so mad. She doesn't deserve him...AT ALL!!!

Of course, he leaves her a letter taking blame for something he doesn't need to and confessing to how he feels for her. Because I needed a stronger reason to love him.

I'll definitely continue with the series. I also didn't realize there was a novella before this book. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 10-15 => (view spoiler)[FINALLY they give in to their attraction, lol. The buildup was good though. The author has done a great job making me love Creon. I feel like he is so misunderstood. I love him.

Emeline annoys me a lot, though. I'm hoping that she will get better. (hide spoiler)]

Anytime! I may join ya'll for this one. I've already read it, but I just got Mate and I'm thinking I might need a refresher lol

Chapters 5-9 => (view spoiler)[I don't think that Creon is as bad as everyone thinks he is. I do wish that Emeline would stop talking about her awful parents in such a nice light. They left her and didn't tell her they were leaving for pete's sake.

I am curious about Tared and Lyn though. I do hope that they will be friends of some sort. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-4 => (view spoiler)[I'm definitely curious about this one. She is obviously not human if she has magic. It's always a little frustrating when books start out this way because it's so obvious. Her parents are not nice people either (hide spoiler)]
