182245 Also, thank you guys for making the last FOUR years a wonderful experience. It's been a blessing to be a mod for you guys, and I'm sure I'll see you around on one of these wonderful reading challenge groups!

182245 Note : I've gone through and archived a BUNCH of threads today. If something got accidentally archived that you're still working on or would prefer to have available, please send me a PM and I'll get it sorted out for you!

182245 Hey guys! Before I get started, please make sure to check out the announcement here to make sure you're up to date on what's going on.

If you're interested in continuing on your own time, please check out Joy's playthrough. Joy has done every one of the tasks I had created, as I was working on them as things got completed. I never got further than this, so she's the one who got the furthest. I guess that means that you got there first, Joy. ;)

Oh, and Santa was hiding on a beach in Hawaii. Everyone needs a vacation, you know.

I'll be watching the Q&A still in case of any questions, but will no longer be updating current threads.

Thank you guys for the ride of a lifetime! Good luck!

182245 Hey guys! Before I get started, please make sure to check out the announcement here to make sure you're up to date on what's going on.

That being said, I've had a lot of fun with this challenge in particular because it was my first one on this group. I just want you guys to know it's been a wonder to have this ready for you!

If you're interested in continuing on your own time, please check out Stephanie's playthrough. She visited every room pretty much in order, so it should be easy enough to copy and paste onto your own thread in order to continue.

I'll be watching the Q&A still in case of any questions, but will no longer be updating current threads.

Thank you guys for the ride of a lifetime! Good luck!

182245 Hey guys, please make sure you check out this announcement.

Regardless of this announcement, if you guys are interested in me posting word lists so you can work through it at your own pace on your own time, please just let me know and I'll be more than happy to accommodate.
Jul 03, 2019 05:32AM

182245 Hey guys! I see that you've seen the announcement, which I was just about to drop over here.

If you guys want to continue playing, I'm more than willing to post the remaining word lists for you so that you can work on them at your own leisure at whatever pace you'd like. Just let me know!

182245 Task Presents, Part 8 ; 17 hours to go

After the last time zone, you're starting to get energized again. You're delivering presents! It's an exciting and new territory and no one, not one single person in the history of ever, has ever done this before! How can you get bored and tired if you're the only one who's ever seen the world from a sleigh high above the ground in the middle of the night?!

To deliver presents here,
Complete the following tasks

1, sort your TBR by any way you wish and read a book in the #5 slot
2, read a published in May OR a book published in 2005
3, read a book where the title starts with a letter in ISLAMABAD

When you check in, let me know if you're going to go to PART EIGHT of present delivery or if you want to STOP TO APPRECIATE YOUR REINDEER!

Hey Leah, I didn't catch this with your last one for some reason, but you need to complete all 3 tasks to be able to move on. Sorry for the confusion!

182245 Once you convinced the little girl to start talking, she explains that she's one of the only children that have seen Santa and therefore he tells her things sometimes. She knew that he wasn't going to be around this year, because he gave her his hat as a goodbye present.

She gives it to you now, because she's really hoping that you can start looking a little bit more like him. You gained Santa's Hat!

Task Presents, Part 5 ; 20 hours to go

Can you believe that you have 20 hours to go?! This night is going to take forever! It's still kinda cool, racing the midnight hour across the world in order to get all the presents delivered at the same time!

You're coming across China now, somewhere you've always wanted to visit when you were younger and had more time. Maybe the world won't notice if you take a LITTLE bit longer on the Great Wall?

To deliver presents here,
Complete the following tasks

1, sort your TBR by any way you wish and read a book in the #8 slot
2, read a published in August OR a book published in 2008
3, read a book where the title starts with a letter in BEIJING

When you check in, let me know if you're going to go to PART SIX of present delivery or if you want to HELP A WIZARD OUT?

Room Five: Media Room

This school has a RADIO STATION. Seriously, how cool is that? There's other miscellaneous mechanical objects strewn across the room, but this part is AWESOME. There's a large window in front of the recording booth that shows off the playground on the ground floor behind the school. There's also a soundproofed (kinda funky-looking, maybe out of egg cartons?) booth in the corner.

To be part of the cool class,
Read a book with a cover you feel is really amazing
OR
Read a book that's been on your TBR the shortest (any off of the first page)
