189072 I notice something new every time I reread this.

I agree, the Muppets adaptation is great! I grew up watching the Scott version, so it might be my favorite.
189072 It was fun to read again

189072 Happy New Year everyone! I’ll get my December total finished by the end of the day. Only managed to start Babel, but got the other two December reads done.

It's been awhile since I read them, but I remember a lot of text as well, so I don't think they'd be considered heavily illustrated, but I'm sure Cynthia will let you know

189072 Thanks Cynthia! I wasn’t sure if illustrated books counted as easy point getters, since they’re half points, so I’ll fix that.

189072 I enjoyed this book and felt like it had a positive take on the importance of meds and therapy in dealing with depression and anxiety, as well as—as Ali brought up—the importance of attitude. I don’t think it glorifies suicidal behavior, I think it was showing how easy it is to fall into a pit of depressive regret, especially when life seems to be going very badly.

I liked how Nora Seed learned things about herself and her family dynamics in each life and faced her regrets.

I liked that she investigated being an Olympic swimmer, a glaciologist and a rock star and realized that those were really other people’s dreams and expectations. I agree with everyone that some of the lives in the middle got repetitious. I like how she brings what she learns back to her root life, and chooses to live.

Christie is such a great mystery writer! I'm not sure I've read The Blue Geranium, I'll have to check it out––always loved Ms. Marple.
