Looks likes it's related, but not a series. Features minor characters from the author's previous books. It doesn't look like you need to have read them.
Not as sad as I feared. Once you get past the first life, it's much happier. Overall very enjoyable.
68% of goodreads people gave it 4 or 5 stars!! How was I to know?? Proof positive that people give more stars to "classics" so they don't seem uncultured. This is why I have trust issues.
I swear I didn't know!!! It didn't say anything about hipsters. It said funny! Hipsters aren't funny.
