*stands behind, watches you go through the shopping items* "From the slightly annoyed wrinkle in your forehead i'm deducing you feel constricted; that she gives you too little freedom and treats you like a child. I felt it often enough with my older brother Mycroft when i was your age."

"Well you're one of the first in my experience. I do not claim to be an expert, however...i generally distance myself from such attachments, as i am sure you are aware."

*looking through rows in shop* "I suppose you'll need a million different things, women always do...what exactly do you need?" *looks puzzled*

*looks dry* "I never would have guessed. and do you wish to take after her in that respect?"

*arrive at the yard, getting out in the muck*

"I see." *nods* "What does your mother do?"

"Ah." *slightly understanding look* "And you like being alone?"

((Yeah, i remember...i just thought it was funny. :P))

*cab pulls up, we get in*

"Do you go on adventures with your mother often, or just run off and have them by yourself?"

*scoffs* "Whistling? How are you my daughter???"

*holds open door* "Would you like to call for a cab? You have to be really loud, like in New York."

*raises eyebrows* "I'm certain. Come along then." *goes down the stairs, waiting for her*

"Elizabeth is staying with us a few days. While i think, breath and solve puzzles you will watch after her. however, as it is her first day, i will show her around where i work in case you need me or she gets out again."

"Now then. Lestrade needs me in at two, so we can take a cab, if you like. if you're going to stay here for a few days then we'll need extra food. I'll take you to the shop."

"Well...we have some london broil, garlic mashed potatoes and ribo-glutenate. i mean, bread. John, do you want any lunch?"

*cleans up things* "Would you like any lunch? i'm not hungry, but john made me lunch and i don't want it to go to waste."

*shakes her hand* "We'll go this afternoon*

*shrugs* "I suppose...i'm working a case, however. there's been a poisoning. if you're not boring i might take you around."

"Days?" *gasps* "Whatever am i supposed to do with you? I can't show you specimens for two days!"

"There's nothing to be afraid of. When is Irene, i mean, you're mum, going to be back?"

*hands her some specimens, explaining what each one is* "This first one is the spleen of the smallest tree frog int the world."

*looks a little pleased* "I have some other specimens, if you'd like to look."
