Super excited to get home and also super nervous because I've never run a workshop for people my age before!?!?
Quick Update: I've been asked to perform poetry and run a 2-day workshop in Madison, WI, put on by UW-Whitewater. I'll be performing for a summit/program that is interested in building and supporting a mental health system for young people. It's also a paid gig so I get money for this! (I'm being paid for my art and emotional labor -- WHAT!?!?)
I'm currently dying at summer job (work 24 hour days sometimes -- yeah, summer schools!) so I can't do much, but I'm sending you all love and joy! <3
Ugh. Can we trebuchet my brother's trump-supporting girlfriend for being one of those people who is extremely anti-feminist and repeatedly posts about how she "doesn't need feminism" and about how leftist/liberal folks are shit?
It's exhausting seeing her posts all the time and not responding because I'm trying to keep the peace in the family.
Cleo Spynn
Agility & Endurance: 6, good breathing techniques for long-distance running
Natural Athleticism: 4, not a muscular person, mostly lean muscle
Hand to Hand Combat: 3, too small
Experience in Weaponry:
Knives -- 7, necessary at night with all that hate out there
Archery -- 5, not the best, but can hit the target at least
Sense of Element: 7
Logic and Reasoning: 8, good at figuring things out, math is a strongsuit
Success Under Pressure: 7, pretty solid
Mental Wellness: 4, Cleo has a mild form of PTSD from the transphobic violence they've suffered from, which leads to anxiety and depressive issues as well.
Speed: 8, pretty good runner, better at long distance than sprinting though
Investment in Gauntlet: 10, he needs this in order to survive long-term
Previous Skill Training: Life experience?
Update any injuries occurring in training here: None, as of yet.
Other:
-Not very trusting at the moment. Strong bonds last forever though.

Also, if you have any questions, I'm 100% open to chat! (esp. since those are my pronouns haha)
aubree wrote: hello! not great tbh but i'm. doing. lmfao
how about you?"
I feel this. I have not been sleeping nearly as much as I need because too many things at once.
Upside: My life is like poetry 24/7 right now haha.

and I love love loved the fact that he wants to win the gauntlet for safety"
Thank you! I was worried it was a little overkill with the pronouns, but I wanted to make sure everyone knew how to use them, haha.
Name: Cleo SpynnAge: 22
Gender: Non-binary Trans Person (Any Pronouns)
Sexual/Romantic Orientation: Ace-Spectrum, Panromantic
Element: Air
Potential Self-Discovery:
One time, a boy threw her into a rushing river, hoping she'd drown, but she was able to hold her breath the entire time.
Appearance:

Eye Color- Green
Hair Color- Brown
Height- 5' 6"
Distinguishing Features- Androgynous Dress, Short Hair
Faceclaim: [Unkown]
Bio:
Family: Cleo's mother and father are both alive and doing well. Her gender and sexuality are known to both his parents, and they are doing the best they can with that knowledge. They aren't non-supportive, but they're not knowledgeable about what supports and needs Cleo has so they don't do everything right. Cleo is an only child.
Personality:
Pretty friendly for the most part. Will sacrifice any food she has for a friend who says they haven't eaten yet that day. Because of zir selflessness, ze's not really taken too seriously as a competitor, which is definitely an advantage for her -- their desire to win is just as strong.
Cleo is super chill with any pronouns being used for them. Mix it up, stick with one, it's all good. He has less of an attachment to she/her pronouns because it reminds him of when people thought he was a woman. If they're used, he's still pretty okay with it.
She's a poet and tends to speak in lyric more often than most folks, which gives her a bit of a sing-song quality in how she speaks.
Reason for Entering Gauntlet:
Safety. The power and prestige that comes with being a Guardian is highly protective for Cleo as a trans and queer person.
Other:
She wears a small dark leather bracelet with a tiny metal hammer on it. No one knows where they got it from.
@ Rose: I'm a low-key mess 24/7 lol. The amount of strange/weird things that happen all the time, haha. @ Syd: I am dying from this. I had a Capstone last semester and I have one this semester and it's TOO!! MUCH!!
@ Rose: Thank you so much for the invite! I'm not on GR every day, but I'll stop by when I can. <3 It's been really busy because ~*LaSt SeMeStEr*~ but it's going to be great. @ Kathryn: HEY! It's been forever. I hope everything's been going well!
@ Mal: I feel this so deeply right now. I have like six articles I still need to read for my capstone, but I got excited when I saw this group haha.

I'm doing pretty well overall -- bit more busy/stressed right now because EVERYTHING is going on, but still pretty solid.
How are you doing?! :D
Hey friends!I know quite a few of y'all already. For those of you I don't know, my name's E.J. and my pronouns are they/them/theirs (I'm a nonbinary trans person).
I'm not sure how much I'll actually be able to RP, but I've been missing this a lot so I wanted to join this one (only one I'm in right now <3 ).
