1. The gods have lost most of their powers and as time goes on, they will get weaker. However they still have a few powers that set them aside from regular people2. You can claim as many gods as you like, however when you actually create the characters, you must make a regular human for each two gods you make. If this isn't followed or the human isn't made in a timely fashion, all claims will be removed and none of your characters will be approved until you follow the rule.

No worries love, let me see if I can explain it differently. Basically, for the major god powers claims, you're claiming one item/power and making a god/goddess of that item/power.Then for the minor god power claims, you can claim up to three (but also just one or just two) for one god/goddess that you create.
So I guess essentially, you're claiming the powers for the god that you make, but then you'll expand on what they can actually do with that power in the "abilities" section in the template.
Ex: I'm making a goddess of fire. So it will go
Goddess of: Fire; burning and destruction
Abilities: she can manipulate fire when the sun is visible
(then if you want) Weakness: she is weakened by cold and loses her powers quicker, as well as gets colder and sicker quicker from a weak immune system.
Does that make any more sense?

The story of the Gods begins with time itself. The first one to step foot among the clouds was the Goddess of Time, as she began the birth of the gods and goddesses that would soon rule the skies. She created *Blank* and Kynara, King and Queen of the Gods. And from there gods were created and born to rule over all those that would eventually roam the Earth.
Sacrifices were made, temples and statues were built, and stories were told, all to worhsip the gods. However, as time went on, the gods were slowly forgotten and they began to lose their power as their stories faded into just that. That was when Nyrus, God of Darkness, began to seek more and more power as his was lost. He whispered in the humans' ears and urged them to start wars and battles, granting him more and more power as time went on.
Eventually, Nyrus overthrew his fellow gods, casting them down to Earth where they lost their powers and were forced to take the forms of humans. They only grew weaker as those they ruled over lost faith in them. Nyrus grew more and more powerful, and was soon able to convince some of the overthrown gods to join him, granting them power as they did. Now, in order to regain their power and status and to overthrow Nyrus, the gods must convince the humans that surround them that the gods are real and they need belief to become strong once more.
